Loving the bathroom - who knew?

The paint color we chose for our bathroom, at first I thought was going to be so dark, but when we got the mirror put up, it looks so bright! I am so very excited, I can't even tell you. I LOVE home projects. I can't wait to own our own home one day so that I can make improvements to it and put my own personal touch on it. All in due time, I guess. Pictures of our bathroom will be posted sometime next week. I'm still waiting to finish my other mirror and get it hung.

FINALLY

Well, we finally got our bathroom painted. I'll post pictures later. I'm waiting to get it decorated the way I want.

The landlord didn't have a mirror on the wall when we moved in, so I put a small temporary mirror up until we were ready to re-do the bathroom. Now we bought a big mirror to go over the sink. It's been quite difficult to hang it. Some home projects can really hinder your marriage. Anyway, we decided to call in reinforcements. So my father-in-law is coming over tonight to help Joseph. Thank goodness. I'll just stay down stairs and talk with my mother-in-law and be happy, instead of frustrated and mad!

I bought this ugly beat up mirror at Ross and yesterday my mom-in-law and I painted it several different shades that coordinate with my bathroom colors, then we are going to paint it all white and sand it down so the colors show through. I'm excited to get this hung in the bathroom, so we'll have two mirrors to use, especially on Sunday mornings when we get ready at the same time.

On to another subject. We took Daniel's senior pics on Saturday. It was so much fun! I never knew he was so cooperative when it comes to having his picture taken. He didn't complain once. It was a lot of fun. Sandi (the lady I work with) is an excellent photographer and she took his pictures. She was so excited that he was having fun with it. He is such a HAM! When I get some pictures, I'll post them on here for the few people that read this blog to look at.

That's about it for me. Hopefully, it won't be so long until I write my next blog.
